I know I have been a bad blogger again!!! Life tends to get the better of me most days! I have been busy getting ready for the craft fair season and wanted to share a few projects with you. I stamped candles with various sayings and to make them gift giving ready I put a little shredded paper in the cello bag and made bag toppers to match the candle. Hope you enjoy!

My husband needed a baby gift for one of the ladies in our unit tonight (nothing like last minute!) so I found this cute vinyl bag that will be perfect for her to tote the baby's stuff around in, I added a "K" using my cricut to cut the vinyl and filled it with cute little pink outfits! (The picture does not show how nice the bag really came out.) I am loving using this vinyl! I have done a few of these bags this month and I really like that the bag I use as the "gift" wrapping is a bag they can keep! Hope she enjoys it!

Feel Better

Well I have been on "vacation" from blogging! I have been in a rut with no mojo! TAC released our new Inspiration Avenue magalogue Sept. 1 and it is full of fun! For this card I used the new "tea for two" set, and mimi patterned paper. I used the cup as a bowl to make it look like a bowl of soup, used liquid applique for that smooth "broth" look. I am loving these new tea and coffee sets. Have lots to do for all the craft shows coming up so I am sure you will be seeing more!

just be-claws

So finally found a little mojo today and came up with this "just be-claws" card. This is the new fishy friends set in the Serendipity, new magalogue from TAC. This was the first set I wanted as soon as I saw the book! For today's card I used kraft and green cardstock, layered with Cha Cha paper (TAC). For my lobster I embossed her with red dragon embossing powder, the picture doesn't show how nicely she glitters and shines! It is a simple card but sometimes keeping it simple makes the card stand out more. Love this one. Hope you enjoy it.

Twin girls baby card

Here is my card I came up with to fill an order for twin baby girls and thought I would share it with you. I used my fav kraft cardstock and layered with pink and ivory. I used my cuttlebug baby folder to emboss the ivory, and the Twins stamp set from TAC. On the teddybear I used brown flock to give it that warm and fuzzy feeling. I have redone this card like 10 times and I think I finally like this one. Hope they do too!

Ladybug

Here is my ladybug mini book. I love ladybugs and love this book! I used walk in my garden cartridge for the cricut. I covered with black and red cardstock and embellished with ribbons and buttons and flowers. I made 8 pages for this book. I finished it off using my bind-it-all. Enjoy!

Today is my mom's birthday! For her card I used purple bazzill cardstock, ivory cardstock,butterfly swirls stamp set from TAC, and purple stickles. I stamped the butterfly and on the scallop and then stamped another image and cut it cut, popped up the sides to give it that 3d effect. I really like this card and hope she will too!

coaster project

I finally had my first class Thursday night! For one of our projects we made a coaster box. I got tutorial for this project from splitcoaststampers. I used Catelynne paper from TAC to cover all my coasters. I also used my Slice to create the 3-d effects. I cut out a 3 1/2" frame, and a 3" flower using the noteworthy cartridge. The flower is cut in 3 pieces and I used different pop dots to pop it up off the box. This makes a great idea, easter basket, "feel better" basket etc. Just fill with goodies. I hope my girls at the class enjoyed making this project as much as I did! The pictures just dont do this project justice!

I just love the new level B hostess set from TAC called purr-fect friends
For todays card I did a 4x4. I used the purr-fect friends set which you can get with a 250.00 purchase. I also used spring dream stamp set from TAC t-2688. I stamped using baby blue ink, embossed the cat for that finished look. Layered cream on kraft paper and used a strip of Amberly Grace paper and finished it with a ribbon. On the inside I stamped the sentiment--- hoping your day is purr-fect!

Birthday Card

Here is the birthday card I made for my grandpa this week. I love using Artsy Owls & What a Hoot from TAC. I used kraft cardstock for the base and then used a piece of cream with the cuttlebug folder dvine swirls. I stamped the branch on kraft with landscape ink and cut out, and dew drops for the owls eyes. The inside of the card said "OWL of us".

Branch Christmas Tree

Love how this christmas card came out! I used the Martha Stewart branch punch and punched 2 shades of green branches. I then used my glue pen and glued each branch on, alternating colors and then filling in. I used the Reece SWIC paper from TAC V-846. Hard to see in the picture but I used gold stickles and made little "ornaments" all over the tree. I used a gold dewdrop on the top as the tree topper and finished it off with two on the bottom with gold ribbon. I inked the sides in burnt umber. Love this card! I wish you could see what it looks like in person because the picture just doesnt show how great it looks.

Here is a picture of the "Our Hero" word album I made for our craft show earlier this month. They were a huge hit. The albums were cut from chipboard and then I used an Americana theme to decorate each each page. The picture does not do the album justice. My Hero will be home for Thanksgiving!!!! We can not wait!

This is one my latest Christmas cards I have been working on. For this card I used Scarlet cardstock from TAC, nestablities scalloped circle, TAC stamp set hollyswirls T-2925, and the branch punch from Martha Stewart. Love this stamp set, I have used it in so many different ways. The punch is AWESOME! Watch for my next Christmas card using this punch.
